myURHR is now live

Welcome to the University of Rochester’s new HR Management system, myURHR.

myURHR is powered by two systems Workday and UKG—which are ready for you to explore.

A few key reminders:

• Complete training.
  If you haven’t already, make sure to complete or review your myURHR training in MyPath.
• Follow go-live checklists.
  Faculty and staff should verify their personal information in Workday, and hourly employees can now enter their hours worked via the time clock, UKG punch tile, or directly in the UKG timecard.
• Bookmark the myURHR Workday and UKG support webpage.
  Save this link for easy access to support resources.
• Be patient.
  myURHR is one of the largest and most complex HR projects in University history. We are all adapting to new ways of doing business in two new systems, so it’s important to be understanding with yourself and your colleagues as we all adjust.
• Keep an open mind.
  Learning new digital processes and exploring the systems’ capabilities will take time.

This milestone has been years in the making, encompassing discovery, planning, testing, and training. The HR team will continue to refine and improve myURHR Workday and UKG as we move forward.

Overview

The University of Rochester’s new strategic plan will set the course for our future, and an essential element of that plan will be the modernization of Human Resources’ systems, policies and practices.

Our transformative journey to modernizing HR and how we do business is a massive undertaking that begins with the replacement of the University’s PeopleSoft HR management system. It is this platform on which we will re-design HR services. A project of this magnitude requires collaboration with key stakeholders from across the University and the right technology that will enable HR to improve efficiencies.

myURHR—the new name and branding of our modernized HR platform that will be available on December 16, 2024—will leverage HR technology and be used as a business tool to support data-driven decisions; improve efficiencies with consistent, streamlined processes; optimize compliance management; and promote cross-departmental collaboration. The platform will also enable manager and employee self-service, and support other key HR strategic initiatives, such as the Career Path Modernization (CPM) project.

Together, these and other forward-thinking efforts will establish a new foundation for how the University supports the employee experience through modern, accessible services that expand organizational capacities.
